On-Campus Apartments

On-Campus Apartments

Why choose a campus apartment?

  • Each bedroom has its own en suite bathroom, but there is also a shared comfortable living room and fully fitted kitchen for you to spend time with friends or family.
  • Apartment stays include a continental breakfast plus two hot items every morning.
  • Apartments are more economical vs. hotel cost in general.
  • Campus apartments are close to on-campus restaurants, grocery shops and bars, and UWPIAA venues.
  • Apartments are available anytime from July 17-27, but all units are reserved and must be paid for the entire booking. A single person arriving ahead of the rest of their group may book one night of a single booking and then move into a group apartment.

How it works

  • Final deadline to reserve an on-campus apartment is MARCH 6. This is a university deadline and there will be no extensions.
  • The booking link and details are included in the Annual Alumni Week (AAW) registration confirmation email. You will need your AAW registration confirmation number to reserve a room or full apartment.
  • For a group reserving an entire apartment, only ONE person will make the reservation and that person is responsible to pay IN FULL for the booking. Payment to the university cannot be split between everyone in the apartment.
    • All rooms in a group apartment will be booked for the same length of stay. If the first person in the apartment arrives on Sunday, then all rooms in that apartment are booked and paid for starting on Sunday.
    • Once you have selected the apartment size, you will be directed to a link to add a list of everyone staying in the apartment. Please complete this in full and upload it—you will not be able to proceed until this step is complete.
    • If you are booking for a group but do not have enough people for ALL of the rooms in an apartment, you may still book and pay for ALL rooms, and then attempt to “sell” any unoccupied rooms to other alumni looking for a room.
  • If you do not have a group to stay with, individuals or couples may request a single room, and you will be placed in an apartment with a room available. The university will try to place you with your year/era, but there are no guarantees.
  • There are two villages: Dromroe and Cappavilla. Dromroe is closer to AAW activities on campus. See the campus map here. You are welcome to express a preference for a specific village when you book, but it is not guaranteed. Assignments will be shared with attendees approximately two weeks before the event, along with check-in procedures.
  • Questions? Contact the university directly at UWPIAALimerick@ul.ie. The UWPIAA registration team is not involved in on-campus accommodations.
