Legacy Programme
While the adults are nurturing old Up with People friendships, our Legacy participants will be developing new international relationships, breaking stereotypes, and building bridges of understanding—sound familiar?
The Legacy Programme has opportunities for ages 7-12, 13-17, and young adults ages 18-20 as of programme date. The programmes are designed to offer the experience of Up with People through modern day application during our Alumni Week and beyond! Wherever your child falls in the age range, we have a space for them in our Legacy Programmes—building a legacy from generation to generation.
Scholarships applications are now closed for this year.

Meet the Legacy Team

Hi there! I’m Max, from Sweden but I’ve lived in London for the past eight years. I came for the fish & chips and stayed for the rainy weather! I joined the UWP world when I was 13 years old at Camp UWP, then travelled in B15/A16, and later worked for both UWP and Camp UWP. I’m now so very excited to be part of this summer’s Xperience! We have a fantastic team, and I’m sure we’ll have an amazing week!

Hi! I’m Emily and I live outside of New York City. I went to Camp Up with People, traveled in Cast A15, and then worked for CUWP for five years in various positions. The Legacy Programme has been a highlight of my summer for the past 2 years and can’t wait to do it again this year! See you in July!

Hola! I’m Rogelio from Cancun, Mexico. I was part of the first cast of Camp Up with People and later traveled with Up with People. After working for Up with People as a Promotion Representative, I moved to Belgium to study International Communication. I also spent four summers working as a dance instructor and production manager for Camp Up with People. I am currently living in Germany, working as a marketing manager. In my free time, I enjoy producing music and DJing. Cant wait to meet you all very soon!

Hi, my name is Bryce and I’m currently living in North Carolina. After four great summers attending Camp Up with People (CUWP), I traveled in UWP Casts ’15B and ’16A. I worked with CUWP for two years and helped launch the first UWP Jr Program in Greensboro, NC. I love making music, dancing and DJ-ing in my free time. I can’t wait to meet all of you this week!
Photo to come!
Hi! I’m Carter from Thornton, Colorado. I currently go to college in Nebraska and am majoring in accounting. One of the best experiences I’ve had was the summer I spent at Camp Up With People in 2019. I’m extremely excited to join the Legacy team this year and have a fantastic week!

Hi I’m Marci and I’m a retired elementary teacher. I traveled in Cast ’90A and as road staff in ’91A. With a passion for fostering inclusion and celebrating uniqueness, I am ready for a fun-filled week of laughter, friendship, silly and magical moments in the Legacy Programme. Can’t wait to see you this summer.

Hi everyone! My name is Nicole and I live in Onze Lieve Vrouw Waver, in the Flemish part of Belgium. I traveled in Cast B 1984. I learned of CUWP through my daughter and was involved in UWP Jr. Never had a shortage of hobbies of which cooking is the most important. Occasionally I take part in “Smart To Sing,” and since I do some sewing in between, the newest challenge will be “making hoods”. I am very excited to take part in the Legacy programme and working together with the team and all participants. Together we will have the most of fun in Limerick!
