Legacy Xperience is for ages 7-17. If you have young adults ages 18-20, please visit the Legacy in Action page.
General Information
Legacy Xperience offers a weeklong curriculum, combining components of visual & performing arts, cultural awareness, volunteerism, and global citizenship. Ireland will set the stage to Xplore the local region and a wide variety of Xtraordinary outdoor adventures, as well as to interact with the local community.
The Legacy Xperience will include a final performance on Friday for hundreds of enthusiastic alumni, followed by an action-packed Saturday of adventurous high ropes, low ropes, lakeside swimming and more. Before heading home, campers will take part in a facilitated reflection of their Xperience and the rich legacy they inherited — it’s just like a ‘mini’ UWP Xperience!
- Food included: Lunch and snacks are included daily, along with the Monday reception, Tuesday Era dinner, Friday reception, and Saturday dinner.
- Who is leading? We are delighted that Walter Belcher (’89C) will be leading the Legacy Xperience, along with a very talented international team.
- What are the dates? The Legacy Xperience programme will run from July 20 – 25 (6 full days!) and launch with an Orientation and Family Day on July 20. Space will be limited.
- You will need to check in on July 19 or very early on July 20. One parent per participant may attend the Orientation and Family Day, which includes a trip back in time for a 16th century medieval experience. A second parent or guardian or a sibling may attend this special day for an additional small fee.
- See the Legacy Programme overview page for costs.
