Don’t Miss Out: Register for Optional Activities and Tours!

Alumni Week 2025 is shaping up to be an unforgettable experience — and the optional activities and tours are a big part of the magic! Whether you want to dive into Ireland’s rich culture, taste local flavors, or explore stunning landscapes, there’s something for everyone. But don’t wait — registration for the optional activities has been extended to May 5th! You don’t want to miss these incredible opportunities to connect, learn, and make memories with your UWP alumni family.

Last year’s participants couldn’t stop raving about the experiences:

“Burren farm and bread making!!! It was like our travel days — learning about and experiencing culture from a local family. My favorite highlight from the tours!”

Imagine stepping into a local family’s home kitchen, baking fresh bread, sharing a home-cooked meal, and hearing personal stories about life in the Irish countryside. One alum shared:

“The Burren Farm visit was just awesome. We learned and heard so much of the life of the family. They were so friendly and open… The bread and scone making class was great, and both tasted awesome. The lunch was extraordinary and very tasty.”

If city vibes are more your style, you’ll love exploring Galway:

“I loved Galway City because we had a walking tour and then some free time to dance in the rain. We also enjoyed a great meal in a famous pub and then relaxed with a drink in McCarthy’s. It was just nice to do our own thing.”

And it’s not just about the destinations — it’s about that special Up with People feeling that makes traveling together unforgettable. As one alumni summed up:

“I wish I could have done ALL of them with UWP folks on buses. THAT was so special to me… felt like being in UWP again.”
