For “Mandi”, the UWP lessons of community, connection, and service remain central to her daily life. Her community and her cast have benefited from her willingness to give selflessly and consistently in service to others–as a substitute teacher, foreign exchange student “host mom”, 4-H and Future Farmers of America supporter, financial supporter of a battered women’s shelter, and now, through her own business, Daymake Gifts, which fosters a culture of generosity in her community.
