As we move into the fall with the 2026-27 Board of Governors, we’d like to recognize and thank our outgoing members Marisa Connors, Communications Chair, and McKell Neilson, Internal Development Chair, as their terms come to an end, and Birger Husted, Vice President who stepped down from his role in August.
These first two members to rotate off the board since 2021 were dedicated to their roles, elevating the work of the UWPIAA and also supporting other chairs in their efforts, both also having been integral parts of the Alumni Week team annually since 2022’s reunion in Scottsdale. The presence of these three alumni will be missed, but we know they will offer support to the extent possible, and that there were other organizations waiting in the wings looking to benefit from their time and talents.
We are immensely grateful to ALL alumni who have served on the UWPIAA Board of Governors in the past, and to those serving alumni currently in their roles on the board and on the various teams that help to offer opportunities for alumni and to keep us all connected.
