Welcome to Tallinn, Estonia

On October 2-4th, the TAD – Triangle Alumni Meeting was held in Tallinn for the 15th time. The largest number of participants during the weekend was 26 people. Mostly alumni from Estonia, Finland and Sweden.  But also our friends from Belgium and Switzerland were represented.

Traditionally, we started the TAD weekend on Friday evening with a joint dinner gathering at Robbert’s Coffee café in Tallinn.

On Saturday, we started our journey from Tallinn to see side Laulasmaa in Western Estonia, to visit the Arvo Pärt Centre. Arvo Pärt is the top artist of Estonian classical music – the most played living composer in the world. After the tour, there was a concert and a joint lunch at the centre.

Then the road took us to Estonia’s own Gini teahs. Tohi Distillery. We were able to taste the best tastes of Estonian Gini industry.

Evening dinner continued by traditional party and dance were held at the locale music restaurant “Chicago”.

On Sunday after breakfast, there were people  who could still spend the day in lovely Tallinn before heading home.

It was a nice time together again. Thank you to everyone who participated. Next autumn, hopefully, we will meet in Sweden.
