Dear UWP Alumni,

Many of you are aware that John Parker has coordinated and led trips to Kenya and the Masai Mara for the last 20 years. Some of you have joined John and his wife Ann in the Mara, and if you did, you can attest to the amazing experience that is Kenya, Nairobi and safaris in the Masai Mara. John was in Kenya last month and he and Ann have decided that 20 years was a great run. We totally understand and want to thank them for their leadership and hard work in developing these trips.

We have decided to try and follow in John and Ann’s footsteps, and we are so excited that we can finally send out 2025 dates and estimated costs for our trip next year, please continue reading below the photos of past tours!

There will be two groups in 2025. The dates for each are as follows:

Group 1
Arrive in Nairobi no later than January 26: Spend the night at Tamarind Tree Hotel, Nairobi
January 27 : Travel to Basecamp Masai Mara
January 28; Basecamp Masai Mara
January 29: Travel to Eagle View and Basecamp Wilderness
January 30: Eagle View and Basecamp Wilderness
January 31: Eagle View and Basecamp Wilderness
February 1: Depart for Nairobi
Group 2
Arrive in Nairobi no later than February 2: Spend the night at Tamarind Tree Hotel, Nairobi
February 3 : Travel to Basecamp Masai Mara
February 4: Basecamp Masai Mara
February 5: Travel to Eagle View and Basecamp Wilderness
February 6: Eagle View and Basecamp Wilderness
February 7: Eagle View and Basecamp Wilderness
February 8: Depart for Nairobi

    Please include me in information for a safari in 2026. I’ll work on my piggy bank starting now,
